No. 1 Buffet in Algona

Restaurant layout and entrance was not inviting. I felt cramped in the buffet area. Food was just fine.

Best pizza selection I have seen and you can create your own pizza...They don't have a good choice of salad dressing though. Over all my family enjoyed it

New employees. Better food. Total turn around

We went out for dinner and there was no chicken. People standing in line for it. Batch came out and was gone in seconds. Would think they would be prepared at dinner time. Asked about it and was told they were making more. Not my definition of buffet.

Slow service but great pizza.

All fresh and tasty, we requested a certain pizza for the buffet and it was served before we finished our salad

The food may be great and the employees may be very kind to there costumer. But be hind closed doors the chicken is out of their packaging for sometimes 4 days letting air flow get into. I've never seen them derp clean anything ( used to work their ) the place is clean out side the kitchen but inside is a whole different story. DO NOT EAT FROM THEM.

My husband went down to the Pizza Ranch and tried to order some dinner and the guy working took over 5 minutes to help him there were only 2 customers in the restaurant and the employee was just standing there not doing anything than he asked what do you want no kind of courtesy and my husband said the phone was ringing and they ignored the phone call they still had 15-20 minutes before they closed. I don't know but I think the owner should be concerned by the poor service and lack of care from these employees working on Father's Day I think they either need to be fired or they need to be properly trained on how to care about your job and how your not closed until a few minutes before the time schedule to close. My husband was so discussed by the lack of help that he left without ordering.

The pizza is good & so is the chicken. Take out chicken is a rip-off. The chicken piece are so small its ridiculous. They make wonder roast chickens look huge. Chicken legs the size of a pinky finger. Ill never order take out again.

They had a difficult time of keeping the pizza and chicken on the buffet, even though the restaurant was barely half full. They had to send someone for small bills for the cash register at 5:30 pm. Very ill prepared.

The last few times we have tried ordering, they will not answer their phone. Have called multiple times and just wait. Always end up having to order online so they can't ignore our service.

It was totally amazing. We had called and let them know that 20 to 30 of us would be coming for a family get-together and they were thoroughly prepared. And it turned out there was about 35 of us. The food just kept coming and every bit of it was delicious. We will definitely be there again

The salad bar was out of various toppings and had only one type of dressing available, in the half an hour that we were there this condition only worsened. There pizza choices were limited and other items in the hot food area were limited. With less than 1/3rd of the house full, I don't know if it is a staffing issue or just poorly managed. We are not gback.

Go early because it gets busy fast. Buffet is decent and the staff is friendly.

5 pm buffet

Great place to eat. The place was clean, the food was fresh. I was there around noon for lunch so you kind of expect this. Classic Pizza Ranch. I would give it 5 stars except that this site has no ice cream for dessert. They do have the cactus bread, just no ice cream as nearly all pizza ranches have.

Pizza was not warm. There was no chicken during the evening buffet. Gravy was like cream colored water, didn't stay on mashed potatoes or stuffing.

While I'm usually excited for quick bite at pizza ranch. The one in Algona is dramatically lowering the quality of service, cleanliness, and food quality.

The hot wings was excellent and the pizza was pretty good too

Good food and family atmosphere. Did bring us the wrong pizza request though and only 1 of the 2 we asked for.

Went for the buffet they were out of chicken brought some out ran out before everyone could get some. Never brought any more out . We left.

Whenever I am in town I meat up with family for dinner & conversation.

The Taco Pizza was quite delicious, was a bit disappointed that they didn't throw in some sour cream packs but gotta remind myself that it is probably a request item only. Fast prompt delivery...

Was at the Algona location. Got there 15 minutes after lunch buffet. Everything was good and the staff was friendly!

Not that impressed with the pizza but their chicken and blueberry pizza pie was great. Staff was friendly

Never disappointed love the chicken

No food at 6 pm. Ate a salad and sat no pizza out only dessert . Absolutely no chicken, bin completely empty. Everyone sitting waiting on food. Very sad. Yet they are taking people money at the counter to come in. Have salad nothing to eat here!!!

Very kid friendly atmosphere. Lots of options for pizza and side dishes. I felt the potatoes were a bit greasy. The chicken was moist and cooked well.

Disappointed. Ordered party size wings which is supposed to be 24. Only got 10 which isn't even family size and they were burnt to a crisp.

It was good and hot, the lady at the counter taking our money slammed our change down on the counter wasnt very nice like. But will go back.

Been absolutely horrible passed few times we ordered. Rude service, bad or missing food. The online ordering has NEVER worked for us. Constantly says the store is closed. We haven't been able to call and place an order in weeks. No one answers the phone. The voicemail is full. What a joke.

Absolutely love the food! Very clean and the staff are very friendly. My best friend & I have a date there to eat and catch up. Its a nice place to go, to eat & catch up!!!

Very disappointed. The reason I came here was for the chicken. I got one tiny drumstick. When my husband asked if they had more coming out the server said yes. About 10 min later another server took a whole plate to a table that came in after us. When my husband asked again, they said they weren't making any more because they were closing soon. If I would have known that, I wouldn't have even gone there! Bad customer service people!!! If I could, I would give you no stars!

The one in Algona. Iowa does not have much food on there buffet most of the time. The floors could be a lot cleaner. But yet so could the plates they set out to be used.

Nice place to go for a quick bite to eat. Great chicken and broasted potatoes.
